Howdy
If you've stumbled upon this here website, I probably know you in real life, but on the off-chance you don't, I'll take this opportunity to introduce myself.
I am a 20-something post-grad, originally from Texas but currently living in Scotland, in order to pursue my masters degree.

Some fast facts about me: I have a deep appreciation for baked goods, my first stop on any trip is to a local thrift or book store, and not to be divisive here but, I don't really think golf is a sport.

I'm passionate about the value and sanctity of every human life, and uniting as a global community to meet those human's needs. I'm also passionate about the earth - we've only got one and it is of the upmost importance that we respect and nurture it for future generations. Unfortunately, our society definitely isn't doing stellar on either front right now.
I'm furthering my education because these are the missions I want to dedicate my career to, but in order to do so effectively, there's more I need to learn...let's be honest, there will always be more to learn.

The reason I have been able to move across the Atlantic and continue my education is in large part thanks to the Rotary Foundation, and the four clubs that have generously sponsored me. Seriously, I have been the recipient of a life changing scholarship and cannot fully express my gratitude to those clubs involved.

I'm hoping this blog can be a reflection of my gratitude and a way to keep the clubs informed about my life here in Scotland. At the very least, I hope to post a monthly update as a log of the experiences had and lessons learned.

To wrap this up, I'd just like to say thank you for visiting my humble blog.

xx
